SYDNEY, Jan 7 AAP - Three people have now been arrested over a massive brawl in Sydney's south-west that resulted in a number of people needing hospital treatment for gunshot and stab wounds.

One teenager and another male injured in the brawl were arrested on Wednesday following a violent family feud involving 100 people at a public housing estate.

Two men were shot and four others as young as 16 were stabbed at Macbeth Way in Rosemeadow, near Campbelltown, just before midnight (AEDT) on Monday.

Police said the fight was not gang-related but arose from a dispute between two families, fuelled by alcohol and summer heat.

A 16-year-old boy was transferred from hospital to Campbelltown police station on Wednesday and police said they expected to charge him later in the day.

Another young male arrested in hospital was being questioned by police. His age had not been released.

An 18-year-old man who was not injured in the brawl was arrested at the scene and charged on Tuesday with affray.

He was refused bail and was expected to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday.
